- Abstract
The article focuses on a study involving conventional and reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) mediated miniemulsion copolymerizations of butyl methacrylate (BMA) with fluoromethacrylate and monomer reactivity ratios. The study was designed to determine the kinetics of conventional radical miniemulsion polymerization (RMP) and 2-cyanoprop-2-yl dithiobenzoate (CPDB)-mediated controlled miniemulsion copolymerization (CMP). Results indicate that BMA has lesser reactivity as compared to FMA.
