- Title
Neuroscience: Connecting dementias.
- Abstract
The article discusses research conducted by William Seeley and colleagues of the University of California, San Francisco wherein they imaged the brains of patients with five separate clinical dementias which can arise from molecular pathologies. Alzheimer's disease was included in these dementias. They compared data to discover that each type of dementia progresses along defined neuronal networks.
