- Abstract
The article reports on lipid vesicles in plant cutin synthesis. The formation of cutins in plants which form the matrix of cuticles has not been explored entirely. The article examines the role of polyhydroxy fatty acids in the formation of vesicles in the epidermal cell wall of plants. It argues that the process of vesicle formation is the basis for the formation of cuticles. An overview of the process is presented.
