- Abstract
The article discusses a study on a novel approach to nanotube functionalization. This approach allows to reuse unreacted disulfides, thereby demonstrating the advantage of atom economy. In this study, cystamine dendrimeters of various generations were tested as substrates and highly loaded single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) were obtained. A high degree of functionalization was achieved based on thermogravimetric (TGA) analysis and Raman spectroscopy.
