- Abstract
The article explores the prevalence of cheating in sports based on the experience of non-cheating participants in an athletic contest. It explains the concept and implications of playable cheating which allows participants to play despite violations of rules. The use of the mens rea and actus reus in the context of sport cheating is discussed, as well as the impact of cheating on non-cheating teammates and non-cheating opponents.
