- Abstract
The article cites a survey on the adoption of parasite control strategies on sheep farms in south-west England. The report stresses that control of parasites is relevant in the maintenance of sheep welfare and productivity. This research which was participated by three hundred farmers in south-west England found that 84 percent of the farmers housed their female sheep for periods of one week to three months at lambing time while 16 percent of the farmers do not house their female sheep at all.
