- Abstract
The article describes the synthesis of novel fatty acyl and phospholipid derivatives of pyrrole polyamide. The authors also examine the cytotoxicity of fatty acyl and pyrrole polyamide against a cancer cell line of MT-4 cells and those infected by HIV. According to the authors, although no anti-HIV activity was found, their cytotoxicity against the cancer cells was significantly enhanced by introducing a lipophilic group into the pyrrole polyamide.
