- Authors
Linke, Dirk
- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses the errors, problems, and mistakes when typing biochemistry and molecular biology words. The author mentions an incident in which a medical student approached him to verify the word DANN-Polymerase. He notes that the German and English versions of DNA-Polymerase are spelled the same way. He also cites a complain of a colleague that when he entered a word "proline," the word processor turned it into "praline."
