- Abstract
Machaerium scleroxylon commonly grows in East India, West India, Cava, Ceylon and Brazil. In Turkey, it is known as "pelesenk." It is commonly used in interior architecture, decorative furniture, flooring, and cabinet making. Pelesenk is a very hard wood that causes systemic contact dermatitis. This case series evaluates six cases of contact dermatitis that were exposed to pelesenk grinding powder for the first time in the same factory.
