- Abstract
The development of immersion temporal systems, could provided a quickly and efficient method of plant micropropagation in in Vitro conditions, by induction of direct organogenesis on liquid media. However, the cost of the commercial systems like how the RITA® system has limited it used. The objective of this work, was to design a low cost bioreactor prototype, for micropropagation of carnation, applying direct organogenesis on commercial varieties, evaluating the potential of organogenenic variation with different grow regulators and gel concentration. So, we design and construct a systems of temporal immersion with not expensive elements, into of this bioreactor we maintained aseptical condition of propagation. The organogenesis induction shows differences on responds of different varieties of carnation, the Kaly variety was the most efficient in propagation with hormone tidiazuron (TDZ) 0.05 mg/l on liquid media. We demonstrate that using a low cost bioreactor of temporal immersion we can micropropagate commercial carnation.
