- Abstract
In article number 1602100, Simon Thiele and co‐workers report a network of electrospun, cerium oxide decorated PVDF‐HFP nanofibers as radical scavenging reinforcement in fuel cell membranes for improved degradation stability. The corresponding reaction is depicted: Highly reactive species such as OH* (red/blue) react to H2O by a transition of the oxidation state of the cerium oxide. This significantly reduces chemical degradation of the membrane.
