- Authors
McCamphill, Patrick K.; Hastings, Margaret H.
- Abstract
The article presents a study which discusses the role of postsynaptic cJun and CREB (cAMP response element-binding protein) in long-term synaptic facilitation. Topics discussed include long-term memory requiring new gene expression, association of long-term memory formation with the release of serotonin, and transcription factors sharing the basic Leucine Zipper Domain (bZIP) characteristic of CREB.
