- Abstract
This article discusses the results of a research study conducted to determine whether a connection exists between the prevalence of dental caries and the pH, titratable alkalinity, and rate of flow in human parotid saliva. Thirty men with and 52 men without caries were examined, with no differences discovered in any of the aforementioned factors between the groups.
