- Abstract
The article offers information on Herichthys labridens, a threatened fish specie which is distributed at the headwaters of Río Verde, Mexico. It mentions that H. labridens has a slightly elongated body which is gray-green dorsally and cream colored on the belly. Reproduction of H. labridens occurs from November to June. It suggests that preservation of habitat and non-native fishes introduction prevention should be implemented in order to conserve the fishes from extinction.
