- Abstract
The article presents a study on the development of a method to predict baseflow buffering chemistry which is based on the hydrogeomorphic properties of watersheds in Neversink River Basin in New York State. The study employs regression analysis which shows that low acid-neutralizing capacity (ANC) watersheds have higher potential for quickflow runoff. The study reveals that the hydrogeomorphic properties can help determine the sensitivity of watershed to acid deposition.
