- Abstract
Benefits to patient care of electronically capturing patient-reported outcomes in dermatology PROs assist the dermatologist by rapidly and objectively quantifying skin disease's impact on patient QoL, which can then help guide treatment decisions and patient counselling, and encourage appropriate referrals (e.g. mental health specialists). PRO data from a large, unselected population of dermatology patients can help identify risk factors for decreased QoL and further elucidate skin disease impact on QoL.
