- Abstract
The article discusses the strategy utilized by the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) to reduce opioid-involved fatalities is to distribute harmreduction materials, such as naloxone. Topics include the analyzed records for naloxone distributed by hospitals, pharmacies, and community agencies; RIDOH monitors statewide naloxone distribution by capturing de-identified information on naloxone, and Hospital staff are required to report individuals receiving emergency department care.
