- Abstract
The article presents a reanalysis of the bilateral discussions between the U.S. and the Soviet Union concerning the peaceful uses of outer space. It could be noted that Soviet Union announced plans to introduce their first weather satellite by the end of 1965. The exchange of weather satellite data between Washington and Moscow agreement was reaffirmed and understood by the representatives of both sides. The satellite data are expected to be available on a continuing basis. For the meantime, the present daily and useful exchange of conventional weather data is continuing.
