- Abstract
The article discusses the applications of nanoparticles in bioanalysis. The goal of scientists regarding bioassays and immunoassays is stated. It describes the potential of nanoparticles in increasing the speed of bioanalysis. The examples of fluorescent nanoparticles that can be used in bioanalysis are listed, including semiconductor nanocrystals and silica.
