Investigates the effect of root grazing by cranefly larva, Tipula paludosa on competitive interactions between Lolium perenne and Rumex obtusifolius in a glasshouse environment. Preference of T. paludosa for L. perenne; Increase in the shoot production of L. perenne in response to root grazing by T. paludosa; Comparison of dry weights between L. perenne and R. obtusifolius.
