- Title
New national cancer standards.
- Abstract
This article reports on the difference between the care and treatment of children and young people with cancer with that of the adults, as highlighted in the guidance from the British National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence in 2005. Specific guidance is provided on community support for young people with cancer who can fall into a gap in service between children's community teams and adult district nursing teams.
