- Abstract
The article focuses on the case of a 28-year-old primigravida who was admitted to the ultrasound department of the University Hospital in Leuven, Belgium and was diagnosed with hyperreactio luteinalis. Large adnexal masses were observed in the right ovary of the patient using transabdominal and transvaginal gray-scale and color Doppler ultrasound examination. It mentions that the cyst formation on the ovary was induced by high β-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG) levels.
