- Abstract
The article describes the case of a German shepherd dog diagnosed with Trypanosomiasis. Topics discussed include the cause of the disease, its characteristics and its transmission process, the symptoms shown by the German Shepherd and the use of quinapyramine to treat the disease. Also discussed is the use of Giemsa stained blood smears examination to test for the presence of hemoparasites.
