- Title
Close encounters: integrating nanopores and CMOS amplifiers for single-molecule detection.
- Authors
Oliver, John S; Dimitrov, Valentin
- Abstract
The authors discuss the study conducted by J. K. Rosenstein and colleagues on the integrating nanopores and complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) amplifiers to detect single-molecule. They are critical of the measures undertaken by J. K. Rosenstein and colleagues to demonstrate high-bandwidth and low-noise measurements of DNA translocation through nanopores. Also investigated is the possibility that CMOS and integrated nanopores used to describe the DNA translocation and bandwidth.
