- Abstract
The article discusses a study that evaluated antimicrobial activity of woven and nonwoven forms of polymers with biocompatible and biodegradable characteristics. It informs that gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria like, Staphylococcus aureus, was used to study the antimicrobial activity of non-woven fibrous structures, a combination of synthetic and biopolymer. It also evaluated structural properties of fabricated samples by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
