- Abstract
The interaction of an electromagnetic wave with a linear array of fractally fluted chiral cylinders is considered in the present study. The mathematical manipulation is based on the boundary-value technique combined with the translational addition theorem for cylindrical wave functions, and the first-order perturbed formulation for calculating the extinction as well as scattering cross sections of the linear array is obtained, in which the multiple scattering between N parallel fractally fluted chiral cylinders is taken into consideration.
