- Abstract
The article offers information on the Raman lider, developed by Swiss Federal Institute of Technology-Lausanne, which is used by MeteoSwiss for measurement of vertical water vapor. It states that the lidar features narrow-band configuration, ultraviolet (UV) laser and grating polychromator. It mentions that the range of the lidar could reach mid-troposphere in day time while it could reach tropopause during night time.
