- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 85-year-old woman has referred with acute on chronic renal impairment detected prior to elective atrioventricular node ablation for atrial fibrillation. Topics include autoimmune serology has negative and renal tract ultrasound showed a known atrophic kidney; and anticoagulant-related nephropathy has suspected in patients on anticoagulation with unexplained acute kidney injury.
