- Abstract
The article presents the case study of 75-year-old man who developed complete stenosis of the upper esophagus after resection and radiotherapy for supraglottis carcinoma and endoscopic gastrostomy feeding. It states that a guidewire was passed and grapsed with forceps and withdrawn out of the mouth, avoiding the use of electrocautery. It adds that a new endoscopic gastrostomy tube was placed through the gastrocutaneous fistula.
