- Abstract
The article offers information on the Proton-Transfer-Reaction Mass-Spectrometry (PTR-MS) instrument and its significance in measuring the level of formaldehyde (HCHO) in the atmosphere. The PTR-MS' effectiveness depends on the strong level of humidity in the atmosphere. PTR-MS' capacity is considered more accurate compared to other measurements used in determining the volatile organic compounds (VOC).
