- Abstract
The article presents a study that determines the prevalence and outcome of jejunal lesions in patients with Crohn's disease. It describes the method of the study that uses small bowel capsule endoscopy for accurate visualization of lesions on the mucosal surface. It notes the result of the study which suggests that the presence of lesions is associated with the ileal location of the disease and more severe clinical outcome.
