- Abstract
Five Fusarium isolates like-as Fusarium acuminatum were isolated from diseased soybean plants with root rot symptoms collected from Heilongjiang Province in 2012. Based on morphology, E F - 1a gene sequencing and detection of F. acuminatum specific markers, these Fusarium isolates were identified as F. acuminatum. Pathogencity of these 5 isolates on soybean was tested by inoculating cultivars Williams and Hefeng 25 at seedlings, dl isolates were strong pathogenic and no pathogenic difference was found among the isolates. To our knowledge, this is the first report of F. acuminatum as a pathogen on soybean in Heilongjiang Province.
