- Abstract
The article presents the recommendations from the Canadian Asthma Consensus Guidelines for prevention, assessment and management of asthma in children and adults. Optimal management of this disease requires sufficient evaluation of the patient and his environment. In preventing, intervention before the development of asthma or any predisposing disease is carried out. Meanwhile, physicians should recommend inhaled corticosteroids since it is the best option for anti-inflammatory monotherapy.
