- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 51 year old white male who was suffering from pyelonephritis. A lesion of the left nipple was noted during physical examination. The patient stated that the changes on the nipple had been present for about 4-5 years, but he had never sought medical attention for this. He had frequently worked in sun without a shirt doing various labor jobs. Examination of the skin revealed a 4 by 5 cm red dish brown, scaly, slightly indurated plaque with a pearly rolled border. No ulceration was present. The other nipple was normal in appearance, and no other skin lesions suggestive of malignancy were evident.
