- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 72-year-old man presented to the Emergency Department by ambulance following a rollover motor vehicle crash preceded by black-out symptoms. Topics discussed include suffering from dermatitis herpetiformis for the last six years and treated with dapsone and partially glutenfree diet; diagnosis of dapsone-induced methaemoglobinaemia alongside dapsone-induced oxidative haemolytic anaemia; and recommended ascorbic acid therapy.
