- Title
Biphasic versus Monophasic Cathodal Ventricular Pacing.
- Authors
MOWER, MORTON M.; HALL, RALPH; CANNOM, DAVID S.; MOSS, ARTHUR J.
- Abstract
In this article the authors discuss research which has compared biphasic versus monophasic cathodal ventricular pacing. They are supportive of research which has shown that biphasic pacing waveform with a combination of anodal and cathodal pulses that increase contractility and conduction velocity may be superior to standard monophasic cathodal stimulation alone.
