- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an adult hedgehog with head trauma and facial skin injuries which was given maxillofacial reconstruction surgery and antibiotic treatment, but died after three weeks after it was presented for dyspnea. It talks about cytologic diagnosis of mixed pulmonary infection, nematode parasites, bacterial infection and Crenosoma . It discusses about verminous pneumonia as a common clinical problem in European hedgehog and infected by ingestion of larvated eggs.
