- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an 11-year-old male Scottish terrier who was diagnosed with hepatobiliary disease. It reports on the molecular evidence of infection with panola mountain ehrlichia in a thrombocytopenic dog with atypical lymphocytes and clonal T-cell expansion. It mentions the challanges in diagnosis of canine lymphocytic malignancies. It emphasizes a need to understand the immunopathology of canine ehrlichiosis.
