- Abstract
A gastric leiomyoma was first detected as a mass protruding into the superior aspect of the stomach bubble on a chest roentgenogram. Further evaluation of this finding proceeded despite an outside upper gastrointestinal series reported as normal. Previous reports of masses first detected as gastric air bubble abnormalities on chest roentgenograms are reviewed. Apparent masses indenting the superior aspect of the gastric air bubble on upright frontal chest roentgenograms require further evaluation. Copyright © 1988 S. Karger AG, Basel
