- Abstract
Grimmelshausen gestaltet mit Springinsfelds Erzählung seines eigenen Lebens die unvollkommene Erzählperspektive eines zwar bekehrbaren, aber noch nicht bekehrten Sünders, der die nötige Selbsterkenntnis nicht erreicht hat und sich daher zur eigenständigen Autorschaft nicht qualifiziert. Die Aufgabe, das von Simplicius korrigierte Erzählen des Titelhelden poetisch zu vermitteln, wird an Philarchus Grossus übertragen, weil er im Gegensatz zu Springinsfeld nicht nur die Fehler der Mitmenschen, sondern auch seine eigenen einzusehen gelernt hat. Durch die Erzählerschachtelung können nicht nur Parallelen im Verhalten der drei Helden, sondern auch Differenzen in ihrer Reaktion auf das Gehörte programmatisch aufgezeigt werden. Der Bekehrungsversuch an Springinsfeld durch simplicianische Erzählanleitung beweist in Verbindung mit der Gaukeltaschenallegorie den engen Zusammenhang von Grimmelshausens moralisch-religiösen und poetologisch-ästhetischen Grundsätzen.
