- Abstract
The article "Reason and person in persuasion" by Jiménez Cataño discusses the importance of courtesy and tolerance in social interactions. It argues that giving up these qualities can lead to relativism and pluralism of truths. Additionally, the possibility of positive plurality is proposed as an alternative to homogeneity. The text also addresses the existence of positive plurality in today's society, where people come from different places and have diverse cultures and interests. Relativism is questioned in relation to truth, and it is emphasized that there are as many truths as there are true knowledge.
