- Abstract
However, photodynamic therapy (PDT) for porokeratosis has been shown to flatten and fade plaques.[[3], [5]] Nevertheless, there are reported cases of porokeratosis not responding to PDT.[6] A 73-year-old man presented with a 4-year history of an asymptomatic rash in his left groin extending to the left thigh. Our patient required four cycles of PDT before a response was observed, hence, the patients reported previously might not have had an adequate number of cycles of PDT.
