- Abstract
The article discusses canine mammary mixed tumors. It informs that mammary tumors are the most prevalent neoplasia in female dogs. It further states that these tumors comprising elements from the epithelium and the mesenchyme have a complex histological pattern and can undergo malignant transformation and can give rise to carcinomas, carcinosarcomas, and sarcomas. It also talks about the similarities between pleomorphic adenomas in humans and mixed tumors.
