- Abstract
The article discusses a 2019 survey on the most valued outcomes for parents of critically ill children. Results show that the most important include the child's emotional health, family's quality of life together, child's ability to manage age-appropriate daily living skills and child's physical functioning. Also noted are the study's support of the active inclusion of children and families in pediatric critical care and expected outcomes and the need for further research in this area.
