- Abstract
Heterotopic pregnancy (HP) is a rare and life-threatening condition where a patient has both an intrauterine pregnancy and an extrauterine pregnancy. This article presents a case study of a 33-year-old patient with HP and discusses the diagnostic methods and management of this type of pregnancy. The patient underwent laparoscopy and salpingectomy to remove the extrauterine pregnancy. The article emphasizes the importance of considering HP in all pregnant women and highlights the use of serum β‐hCG measurement and transvaginal ultrasound for early diagnosis and management.
