- Abstract
This article examines the impact of social networks on the construction of meanings around the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil in 2020 and 2021. More specifically, our objective is to analyze the virtual memorial @museudoisolamento on Instagram, observing in its emergence the forms of resignification of death and mourning generated in the face of a context of instability and of Brazilian political crisis. Through French discourse analysis, we seek to understand how this memorial became a significant linguistic event, in which it brought new senses of uniqueness, giving voice, body, and meaning to the mourners, contrary to cold statistics and official numbers.
