- Abstract
KIMVN Theater is a Chilean multidisciplinary company founded in 2008 by Paula González Seguel and Evelyn González Seguel. Its main objective is to rescue the memory and defend the human rights of the Mapuche community in Chile. They use documentary theater to collect real testimonies transmitted through orality, memories, and images of specific historical contexts. They have created works that make silenced stories visible and have collaborated with national and international artists. In addition, they have taught documentary theater workshops in different parts of the world and have established the KIMVN Intercultural Art School. Their work has been recognized both in Chile and abroad.
