- Abstract
This letter, published in the Annals of Hematology, discusses the benefits of continuous low-dose infusion during induction chemotherapy for cardiac lymphoma. The author agrees with a previous study that found that continuous low-dose doxorubicin infusion may be less cardiotoxic than bolus infusion. The author also highlights the potential benefit of continuous low-dose infusion in reducing the incidence of peripheral pulmonary embolism (PE) post chemotherapy initiation. The letter suggests that continuous low-dose induction chemotherapy may prevent cardiac perforation and PEs in patients with cardiac lymphoma.
