- Authors
Rodriguez, José L.
- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court's (USSC's) ruling in the 2012 case United States v. Home Concrete & Supply and the reported challenges associated with the application of a deference standard for government agency regulations such as those implemented by the nation's Treasury Department. A deference standard that was established in the USSC case Chevron U.S.A. Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council Inc. is examined, along with legal plurality and a statute of limitations.
