- Title
The Basic-Income Debate.
- Authors
Munger, Michael
- Abstract
The article discusses the arguments over basic-income guarantee (BIG). It speculates that BIG may have originated from the idea of property proposed by political philosopher Jean-Jacques Rosseau in the 18th century. It explains the concept of "geolibertarianism" which views property in land as common to all and its revenue to be shared to the community in the form of BIG. An overview of articles published within the issue is also offered.
